Grab a T-shirt you like wearing and a tape measure. Measure its chest width and length, then compare both with the CUWORA size chart. Our GEN 01 tees have a classic fit, so going up a size gives you more room and a longer hem.
Start with a tee that fits
Use a washed tee with a fit you already like. The size on its label matters less than the measurements, especially if you're comparing different brands.
- Lay the tee flat on a level surface. Smooth out folds without stretching the fabric.
- Measure straight across the chest, from one side to the other just below the sleeves. This is the flat chest width.
- Measure the body length from the high point of the shoulder beside the neckline to the bottom hem.
- Write both measurements in centimetres and compare them with the chart on the product you want.
Chest width means the distance across the flat tee. Don't use a measurement taken around your body for this comparison.
What changes when you go from M to L?
A CUWORA tee in M measures 50.8 cm across the chest and 73.7 cm long. L is 55.9 cm across and 76.2 cm long. That gives you another 5.1 cm across the chest and 2.5 cm in length.
| Size | Chest width | Body length |
|---|---|---|
| M | 50.8 | 73.7 |
| L | 55.9 | 76.2 |
| XL | 61.0 | 78.7 |
If your favourite tee is 55 cm wide and 76 cm long, L is the closest of these three sizes. It's a useful starting point, though a different cut or fabric can still feel different on you.
Should you size up for an oversized look?
Check the length first. A larger size gives this classic-fit tee more width, but it won't turn it into a short, boxy cut. You might like the extra room and still find the hem too low.
If you already own a loose tee you like, use that as your reference. Try it with the trousers you wear most and check where the hem lands.
Check the colour before choosing a size
Sizes vary by design and colour. A size offered in black may not be available in Natural or Carolina Blue. Choose your colour on the product page before picking a size.
The CUWORA Wordmark Tee puts the design across the chest. The Hooded Portrait Tee puts the main illustration on the back. Check both sides in the product photos while you compare them.
Quick sizing answers
Can I choose a size from my height alone?
Height won't tell you how much room you want through the chest or where you like the hem. Measuring a tee you own gives you more to go on.
Should I use the same size for a tee and a hoodie?
Check both charts. An M tee and an M hoodie have different widths and lengths, so don't assume they'll sit the same way.
Where is the full size chart?
